Burn Bans were declared Wednesday in Dubois County and in Lawrence County, Illinois due to ongoing drought conditions.
Meanwhile, burn bans continue in Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick and Spencer Counties in southwest Indiana.
The Indiana Drought Monitor reports much of southwest Indiana, including all of Sullivan, Knox, Daviess, Martin and Gibson counties and parts of Greene, Pike, and Dubois Counties, are abnormally dry.
