Republican Victory at Top Levels, Including Governor, Senator

Former President Trump won the state of Indiana in Tuesday’s 2024 presidential election.      
Meanwhile, Mike Braun is the winner in the race for Indiana Governor.      
The Republican politician defeated Democrat Jennifer McCormick to take the position.       
Braun will take the seat over from incumbent Republican Eric Holcomb.      
Republican Mark Messmer was elected to Indiana’s 8th District Congressional seat.      
And Jim Banks is the winner of the Senate race in Indiana.      
The Republican Congressman defeated Democrat Valerie McCray and Libertarian Andrew Horning.       
The open seat is being vacated by Republican Mike Braun to run for governor.
