It’s Here: Washington Avenue to Re-Open at 1 PM Today

Washington Avenue will reopen to traffic with a Ribbon Cutting this afternoon at one p-m.
The ribbon cutting will take place at the main entrance of Gregg Park.
Following the ribbon cutting and the clearing of barricades, Washington Avenue will be open.
At that time, the traffic flow in Gregg Park will resume the normal traffic pattern of entering on Washington Avenue and exiting onto Niblack Boulevard.
The project, conducted in two phases, includes a renovated roadway, new storm drains, lighting, and sidewalks.
