The North Knox School Board has renewed the Corporation’s property and casualty insurance with Burkhart Insurance. The renewal will be for 169-thousand, 400 hundred dollars for next year.
The policy will retain the same deductible as last year. North Knox Superintendent Darrell Bobe told the Board the insurance carrier originally wanted to change the deductible to ten-thousand dollars. That proposal was not due to North Knox claims, but overall company claim increases. However, after discussion, it was agreed to keep the deductible where it was.
The Board approved the claim renewal unanimously.
