George Rogers Clark National Park in Vincennes will host the annual “Hamilton’s March” tomorrow. The march is a chance to follow in the footsteps of British commander Henry Hamilton, as he took Fort Sackville in 1778. Hamilton would hold the fort for two months, until George Rogers Clark took the position from Hamilton in late February of 1779.
G-R-C chief ranger Joe Herron says the afternoon walk is a good chance to bring a group.
The march is free, but registrations are recommended. You can register by calling 812-882-1776, extension1210 today to register.
