Randall E. “Randy” Emmons, 78, passed away at 6:35 pm on January 2, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Randy was born on February 5, 1946 in Vincennes the son of Keith and Pauline (Barmes) Emmons. He married Beverly Adams on April 30, 2005 and she survives.
Randy served his country in the United States Army retiring after twenty-two years of service as a First Class Sergeant. He loved fishing and mowing his lawn. Randy was also a real handy man and known as Handy Randy.
Survivors include his wife Beverly Adams Emmons of Vincennes; daughters, Melanie Taggart and her husband Maurice of Wheatland, Audrea Mouzin and her husband Mike of Vincennes; step-daughters, Shelley Clark and her husband Brent of Ellenton, FL, Traci French and her husband Justin of Bruceville, his siblings, Loretta Emmons of Florida, Paul Emmons and his wife Beverly of Vincennes, Kenny Emmons of Vincennes, Lloyd Emmons of Vincennes, Paula Baughman of Indiana; grandchildren, Jordan Legg and his wife Shelby, Cole Legg, Caleb Mouzin, Shaylee Mouzin, Kash Mouzin, Rylee Clark, Megan Clark, Tori Hudson and her husband Adam, Gage French; great grandchildren, Emily Legg, Russ Legg, Gavin Blann and Jovie Hudson. Randy is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Curtis Emmons.
Friends may visit with Randy’s family from 10:00 am until noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. A graveside service will begin at 12:30 pm on Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Wayne Thomann officiating.
