A second person has been charged with assisting the suspect wanted in the shooting of an Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy on January 3rd.
37-year-old James Adams of Commiskey, Indiana is charged with Assisting a Criminal and False Informing.
Adams is accused of helping Austin Schepers flee to Louisville after he shot Orange County Sheriff’s deputy Zac Andry.
Schepers was later shot and killed during a confrontation with police.
Adams was served with an arrest warrant while being held on unrelated charges in the Scott County Jail.
