VCSC Unified Robotics Team Teachers Get Stipends

The Vincennes Community School Board has approved stipends to teachers of various Unified Robotics teams. The teams were involved in a competition at Adams Coliseum last November 8th.
One teacher—Valerie Grumieaux from Vigo Elementary—got a one-thousand dollar award. 500 dollar stipends were given to Darrell Hicklin of Clark Middle School; Kiera Kirsch of Franklin; Ashley O’Dell of Tecumseh Harrison; and Riley’s Grace Jones. The overall stipends come from both the Special Olympics, and a STEM grant from Duke Energy.
